Golden Retriever Inter-Club Event

The Inter-club is a competition to which all Golden Retriever Clubs in the UK send a team of four dogs to compete against each other in various exercises similar to those in a club working test.

Each team is be made up of 2 novice dogs and 2 open dogs. This year GRCS will be represented by Mandy McDonald and Falcor and Hugh Somerville with Pip in the novice test, and by John Debnam and Peg and Liz Mitchell with Cougar in the open test. Patty Fraser and Macallan will be our reserves for the novice test.


Well done to our team whoe were selected at the assessment evening held on Monday 23rd of May. Thanks to all those who attended and to Tom West of Westhala Gundogs who is going to give our team some extra training for the event.

The inter-club competition will be held on Sunday 26th June 2016 at Aske Hall, Richmond, North Yorkshire DL10 5HJ by kind permission of the 4th Marquess of Zetland and will be hosted this year by he Golden Retriever Club of Northumbria. Spectators are welcome at this event.
