We held our Christmas Party at the Muirhead Community Hall this year.    32 dogs took part in the Match with the overall winner being John & Anne McAleese with Lochtaymor a Diamond Jewel with Reserve Best in Match Carol Wilkinson with Jenala Khalisah at Tulliallan.                         

Jim Heelis brought along three of his working dogs to take part in the Match and they certainly showed what a versatile breed we have .As you can see from the above picture even the youngest puppy wanted to get in on the fun.

Unfortunately our Judge had to call off at very short notice and we were very pleased to welcome Lorna Neeson to take her place.

After lunch we prepared for the Fancy Dress competition.  From the pictures you can see what a lot of effort went into the costumes. The winner was Louise Ogilvie with Bramble . I dont know who had the most fun  the Exhibitors or the dogs.

We then had our Christmas pies and mulled wine with Santa delivering the presents for all the dogs.

This certainly seems to be a popular day in our social calendar.
