Thank you to the wonderful committee for the invitation to judge their well-run club Open Show. I thoroughly enjoyed my day and was pleased with my overall line up. It was an absolute pleasure to judge all exhibits and I would like to say thank you to each exhibitor who took all my placings so sportingly, you made a lovely day even better.
Veteran Dog (8, 5abs)
1st, BVD & BVIS Mackenzie’s Tullochmohr Here We Go Again. Masculine dog with correct head, dentition and dark eye. Good length of neck flowing into good shoulders and front. Topline and tail set correct, both of which were held well on the move. Correct angulation which allowed him to move with plenty of drive.
2nd Warden’s Eyevalley Macallan of Glentochty ShCM VW. Another masculine dog with good head, dentition and dark eye. Correct length of neck, however, slightly heavier in shoulder than 1. Level in topline and tail carriage which were held on the move. Angulation correct and well-muscled. Moved well.
Minor Puppy Dog (3, 0abs)
1st & BPD King’s Cleddans Dreaming of Summer. Very raw 7.5month old male who shows plenty of promise. Lovely head with melting expression & correct dentition. Ample length of neck into well laid shoulders & straight front. Balanced in body with level topline which he held on the move. Tailset ok. Well-muscled hindquarters with plenty of muscle which allowed him to move out with plenty of drive.
2nd Strachan’s Bernmags Sugar Cane. 7months with lovely head, good length of neck and well laid shoulders. Moved ok once settled but does tend to move a little close behind. Topline ok but am sure this will strengthen with age.

2nd Halkett’s Noblemoon Head Over Heels at Garrellglen. Correct head, dark eye and dentition. Ample length of neck flowing into well laid shoulders and good straight front. Slightly longer in body than 1 and is another who just needs time for his topline to strengthen. Moved well.
Junior Dog (3, 1abs)
1st Bolton’s Megarvey Still Game for Shiresmill. Well presented male with good head, eye and dentition. Correct length of neck and well laid shoulder. He is slightly longer in body than I would like but topline and tailset are both correct. Well-muscled hindquarters and moved out well.
2nd Wallis’ Lamancha Roll on Good Times. Correct head, dark eye and dentition. Ample length of neck into well laid shoulders. Well bodied but just preferred topline & tailset of 1. Well-muscled and moved well.
Special Yearling Dog (3, 1 abs)
1st & Res BD Hunter’s Glenrioch Rock of Ages. This boy caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring. He has the most appealing head with correct dark eye and dentition. Clean in neck which flowed into well laid shoulders, straight front and the most beautiful cat like feet. He is so balanced with level topline and correct tailset. Hindquarters well-muscled with just the right amount of angulation. Once settled he moved so true with plenty of reach & drive. He pushed hard for top honours today and I’m sure with time & confidence for both him and his handler we will see them really come into their own.

1st Mcaleese Sheriffmuir Glorious Lad at Glormhorcu. Beautifully presented boy who is also lovely in shape and is very well balanced. He has correct head, dark eye & dentition. Lovely length of neck which flows into well laid shoulders and straight front. Level in topline and tailset correct. Plenty of rear angulation which allowed him to move out well.

1st Wallis’ Blue Gemstone Katrina. Masculine head with good dark eye and correct dentition. Ample length of neck, however, slightly heavy in shoulder today. Topline and tailset correct, however, he does tend to carry his tail slightly high on the move. Hindquarters are well muscled and angulated which allowed him to move out with drive.

1st, BD & RBIS McShane & Laidlaw-Good’s Fhairmhor Haud Yer Wheesht at Rigerin. This boy just got better the more I saw him and really did pull out all the stops in the challenge. Masculine in head with correct dark eye and dentition. Ample length of neck which was well muscled and flowed into well laid shoulders, straight, well boned front and the most beautiful cat like feet. Well bodied, deep, well sprung ribs with level topline and correct tailset. Moved out well with plenty of reach and drive.
2nd Ogilvie’s Linirgor Play My Song for Glenbuie. Another lovely male with correct head, eye and dentition. Ample length of neck into well laid shoulders, level topline and tailset. Well angulated hindquarters & moved out well.

1st Warden’s Noblemoon Tak The High Road to Glentochty. Masculine head with correct eye and dentition. Lovely length of neck, good front with ample amount of bone, however, he is slightly heavy in shoulder for me. Well bodied with correct topline and tailset which he held well on the move. Moved well.
2nd Barron & Jenkins Rannaleroch Abhainn Don. This dog has the most beautiful outline but is just a little too heavy in front for me. He is masculine in head with a melting expression and correct dentition. Topline and tailset level and both of which were held on the move. Moved ok.
Veteran Bitch (5, 2abs)
1st & BVB Brown’s Fenpinque Glitterspelle. Beautiful head with correct dark eye and dentition. Good length of neck but slightly heavy in shoulder. Correct straight front with cat like feet. Topline and tailset correct with both held well on the move. Well-muscled and well angulated hindquarters. Moved well.
2nd Thomson’s Gillbryan Danish Pastry. Lovely head, eye and correct dentition. Good length of neck but again slightly heavy in shoulder for me. Tailset and topline correct which she held on the move. Well-muscled which allowed her to move out with drive.
Minor Puppy Bitch (4, 2abs)
1st Williamson’s Sandti Tiki Taka. Beautiful head with kind eye and correct dentition. Ample length of neck flowing into well laid shoulders. Balanced in shape with beautiful bone and cat like feel. Topline and tailset correct which were both held on the move. Hindquarters well-muscled with correct angulation. Moved out well with plenty of reach and drive.
2nd Brightley’s Drumkilty’s Lus Na Greine. Slightly finer throughout than 1. Lovely length of neck into well laid shoulders and good straight front. Level in topline and correct tailset which she carried well on the move. Would have liked a little more angulation behind but she still moved out well.
Puppy Bitch (3, 0abs)
1st, RBB & BPIS Palmer & White’s Linirgor Lady of Cairnglen. Beautiful bitch with the most feminine of heads, good dark eye and correct dentition. Good length of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, straight front with lovely bone and cat like feet. She is so balanced in outline with level topline and correct tailset. Hindquarters are well-muscled and have just the right amount of angulation to allow her to move true both coming and going. She was beautifully presented and I will watch her progress with interest.
2nd Dunbar’s Linirgor Nine to Five. Litter sister to 1 and many of the same comments apply. Just preferred overall outline of winner.

2nd Hill & Smith’s Megarvey Déjà vu. Lovely bitch with good head, dark eye and correct dentition. She has ample length of neck which flowed into well laid shoulders, level topline and correct tailset. Well angulated hindquarters which allowed her to move out well. Just slightly heavier all over than 1.
Special Yearling Bitch (5, 0abs)
1st, BB & BIS Purdie’s Dunnybrae Tickety Boo. I just loved this bitch and couldn’t deny her top honours today. She has the most feminine of heads with beautiful dark eye and expression. Good length of neck flowing into well laid shoulders, straight front and beautiful cat like feet. She is well bodied with plenty of bone and so very balanced in outline. Topline level with correct tailset, both of which were carried well on the move. Hindquarters were are well-muscled with plenty of angulations which allowed her to move so effortlessly both out and back. Presented in tip top condition.
2nd McDonald’s Lamancha Question the Truth. Another lovely bitch with good head, eye and dentition. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders, level topline and correct tailset. Well angulated and plenty of muscle to allow her to move with plenty of reach and drive. Preferred overall outline of 1.
Maiden Bitch (6, 2abs)
1st Brown’s Laynosk Marchesa. Placed 3rd in Special Yearling. Good head, eye and dentition. Correct length of neck which flowed into well laid shoulders, correct topline and tailset. Hindquarters well angulated and moved well both out and back. Just has a tendency to stand herself a little ten to two on times.
2nd Barron & Jenkins Rannaleroch Pen-y-Bont. Slightly heavier bitch but still balanced in outline. Feminine in head with good dark eye and current dentition. Ample length of neck and good shoulders. Topline level with correct tailset and just the right amount of angulation. Moved well once she had settled.
Novice Bitch (6, 3abs)
1st Frost’s Seleneeos Tyche. Lovely head with good dark eye and correct dentition. Good length of neck which flowed into well laid shoulders, straight front and nice feet. Topline and tailset both correct with both held well on the move. Well angulated hindquarters with plenty of muscle. Moved ok.
2nd Simeonov’s Cardrona Chic. Nice bitch with good dark eye and correct dentition. Ample length of neck, well laid shoulders and straight front. Topline and tailset both correct with just the right amount of angulation. Slightly heavier throughout than 1.
Undergraduate Bitch (5, 0abs)

Good length of neck which flowed into well laid shoulders, level topline and correct tailset. Lovely bone and good feet. Hindquarters were well muscled, and angulation correct to allow her to move with plenty of reach and drive.
Graduate Bitch (5, 2abs)
1st McDonald’s Lamancha Obsidian Flame. This bitch stood out in this class for me, she has the most beautiful of heads with good dark eye and kind expression. Good length of neck which was well muscled and flowed into well laid shoulders. Straight front with plenty of bone and lovely cat like feet. She is well bodied with level topline and tailset which she always kept on the move. Well-muscled which allowed her to move out and back effortlessly. Pushed hard for top honours today.
2nd McNeish’s Drumkilty Toodle Pip JW. Lovely head, good dark eye and correct dentition. Ample length of neck into well laid shoulders, level topline and correct tailset. Well angulated hindquarters which allowed her to move effortlessly. Just a tad too long in loin for me.
Post Graduate Bitch (5, 5abs)
1st Lochhead’s Bluebraes Meadow Pipit. Beautifully presented bitch with good head, dark eye and correct dentition. Correct length of neck into well laid shoulders, straight front and good feet. Level topline and correct tailset and although she is slightly too long in loin for me she is still in proportion. Moved well both out and back but does have a tendency to drop her topline on occasions.
2nd Brown’s Leynosk Gold Card. Good head with correct eye and dentition. Ample length of neck, however, preferred shoulder placement of 1. Well bodied bitch with correct topline, tailset and rear angulation. Moved well both out and back.

1st Palmer & White’s Linirgor Perfect Symphony of Cairnglen. Beautiful bitch with feminine head with good eye and dentition. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders, straight front and lovely feet. Well balanced throughout with beautiful bone, level topline and correct tailset. Well-muscled and angulated hindquarters which allowed her to move out and back effortlessly.
2nd Williamson’s Sandti Hits the Sweet Spot JW. Lovely head with kind, dark eye and correct dentition. Ample length of neck which flowed into good shoulders, topline and tailset. Straight in front with lovely amount of bone and tight feet. Hindquarters are well angulated with plenty of muscle to allow her to move with drive. Just preferred shoulder placement of 1 today.

Hindquarters are well angulated with plenty of muscle to allow her to move effortlessly at all times. Another that pushed hard for top honours.
2nd Purdie’s Megarvey Itty Bitty Boo JW. Lovely head, dark eye and good dentition. Correct length of neck flowing into good shoulders, level topline and correct tailset. Straight front with good feet and bone. She is slightly heavier than 1 and a little over angulated behind for my liking. Moved ok.
