What a treat to see 13 lovely Golden Retrievers ready for the day. Some of the competitors had travelled far to attend with 2 people from Belgium and 1 from Sweden. We started the day walking through white grass with a wood on our left. The ever-famous Buzz hunted out the front and was soon pointing where the birds lay. A great team of guns (4 from England and 2 from Scotland) shot a variety of game including pheasant, partridge and a rabbit. As we neared the house there were 2 dogs remaining and trial was declared as over.
